Intrauterine insemination (IUI) IUI is a technique where sperms are prepared in the laboratory and the washed active healthy sperm are directly placed into the uterus through a very thin flexible catheter. It is indicated in women with mild male factor, unexplained infertility and polycystic ovaries.
